Nigerian Large Calabash Stick Rattles

Made from local wood and traditional calabash pieces, these unusual rattles make an interesting addition to any small rhythm jam. To play it, hold each end of the long stick with your hands and shake it back and forth. As you do that, you can tilt it up and down for more intricate rhythms. These are a traditional instrument from the North of Nigeria.
