We are wholesale importers of African musical instruments, located near Boulder Colorado. For 19 years we have been importing directly from the villages of Africa and distributing to music stores and drum shops across America, Canada, and Asia.

We work directly with the producers and nearly everything is made to our specifications to guarantee consistently high quality products year after year. The founder, Steve Karowe, spends one or two months a year in Africa improving the design and quality of our products.

We believe in Fair Trade. By working directly with the artisans we make sure everyone is happy with the

conditions and wages. We have worked with many of our producers for over a decade. Most of the producers are able to work all year round building instruments for us.
